Ultra V Gel
A brief review of V Gel and other
Vaginal Tightening products
Note: The TLDR of this article is the majority of products relating to vaginal
tightening use astringents. If you are familiar with toners and astringents in
skin care then you will already know that is any chemical that constricts or
shrinks body tissues. A common method of action for these chemicals is by
causing dryness.
Vaginal tightening is something that women tend to look up after giving birth.
It is typically caused by loss of tone and can occur with age, illness or as
previously mentioned pregnancy and birthing.
As the issue is natural and common, there are plenty of creams, gels and even
pills or injectors that can be applied or inserted to promote vaginal
tightening.
A quick look at the ingredients (if mentioned on the product) leads you to find
that they are all pretty similar (in content if not name). A common brand
available in the market is Ultra V-Gel and this one has the following
ingredients: Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Curcuma Comosa (Witch Hazel), Manjakani,
Stabilizer
Aloe Vera is a familiar ingredient for most skin care products and is innocuous
enough that it may be skipped. Witch Hazel, the next ingredient listed in the
Ultra V Gel is also frequently found in skin care products but we would just
like to point out that it is a natural astringent and commonly used for facial
skin care as it helps tighten pores.
Next up, the Ultra V Gel contains manjakani which is actually gall from
specifically Aleppo oaks. Basically, these are growths from a kind of oak
tree. This has historically been used in Asian medicine and perhaps you may be
familiar with it in the name Mazu Sabz.
Regardless, this is another astringent and similarly to Witch Hazel also has
anti inflammatory properties. Supposedly, there is not a lot of peer reviewed
research to back this up, it can also help with the elasticity and tightness of
the vagina. It can also help with vaginal dryness and some research suggests
that it may be useful for vaginal infections.
Lastly, stabilizers are common in most skin care and even food products. They are simply there to ensure the product has a specific texture (creamy or gel like consistencies being the most common). There are a wide range of approved stabilizers and it is to be hoped the product has one of those as it does not specifically mention which one is used.
All in all the Ultra V Gel appears to be mostly innocuous and unlikely to cause harm. The product also claims to be made of natural and organic ingredients which is possible. But, there is very little research to back up the claims made by the Ultra V Gel price in pakistan or similar products. As the topic is not something that is comfortable to discuss there are very few reviews to help guide people on this topic.
